Past Due Hosting & Domains
Hosting Accounts -
Hosting accounts that are 30 days past due are automatically suspended. When a visitor goes to your website they will see:
"Account for domain yourdomain.com has been suspended"
At this point you may still re-activate your account with no penalty fees simply by submitting payment for the past due amount.
After 45 days, your hosting account is subject to deletion. After your hosting account has been deleted from our system, there is a $25.00 re-activation fee which will be added to the past due amount owing on your account.
We make every effort to contact you via email to make you aware of your account status.
Domain Names -
Unlike hosting accounts, which give you 30 days, when domains expire your website is immediately down.
After expiration has occurred, you have a 45 day grace period to renew the domain at the standard price of $17.00 per year.
After the grace period the domain goes into what's known as RGP. At this point the domain is officially available to the public in an auction and the only way you may get it back is at a cost of $160.00 or higher, or wait out the auction. If no one bids on it, the domain will eventually be released back to the general public and may be reserved by anyone at $17.00.
THIS WHOLE PROCESS CAN TAKE 90 - 120 DAYS, SO IT IS BEST TO KEEP YOUR DOMAIN CONTACT INFORMATION CURRENT SO THIS WILL NOT HAPPEN TO YOU!
Premium Listing Ad Expirations -
45 days after your original due date, your premium listing ad is subject to suspension and will be removed from the website. At this time, there is no reinstating fee. We're just happy to have you back up online with us.
